Hands-on Production Engineer

• You lap and polish optical components in diamond (meet our team).
• You help solving the demanding requests of our customers and increase efficiency and technical know-how of our team.
• You will follow up the implementation of new machinery and instruments in our production process.

As a bachelor (in mechanical engineering or likewise passion), you join our team of diamond cutters that polishes optical components in diamond. You will grow your expertise in lapping and polishing the hardest material: diamond. You are passionate about fine mechanical processes down to the micrometer and nanometer. As a problem solver, you do not shy away from manual work making the most demanding optical diamond components for world renowned universities in the field of high-pressure, optics and quantum sensing and computing.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of our company and the satisfaction of our customers.

• Good knowledge of English: speaking and writing.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Use your mechanical engineering skills to operate and maintain polishing equipment.
• Utilize your expertise and technical mindset to ensure all components are polished to the highest quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and timelines.
• Continuously improve polishing techniques to increase efficiency and quality.

• Good working hours (Mon-Thurs from 8 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8 am to 3:30 pm).
